A New Day for My Daughters

"Free, fierce, and strong women for Obama," including Caroline Kennedy, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, and Maria Shriver, gathered yesterday at UCLA in Los Angeles - reflecting a new day of hope, not only for all women, but for our entire human family.

This was, perhaps, the most extraordinary political rally I've seen in my lifetime. My four year old daughter put it best, after hearing Michelle Obama speak of the important choices in front of us -

"I care about important things."
